Shirley Nichols was trained directly by Professor J.R. Worsley, the world-renowned Master of Classical Five Element Acupuncture. She studied with Professor Worsley and his successor, Dr. Judy Worsley, over a 15 year period in England and the United States. (For more information about Professor J.R. Shirley is enthusiastic about this method of acupuncture and has been teaching it to other medical professionals since 1995. She has been an instructor with the Five Element Acupuncture Training program founded by Khosrow Khalighi, and Shirley also teaches on an individual basis to practitioners who are dedicated to Classical Five Element acupuncture.

Shirley received her Bachelor degree in Acupuncture from the Worsley Institute of Classical Acupuncture (WICA), and her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture (AFEA). She is board certified in acupuncture and holds a Diplomat in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). With this strongly rooted training and understanding of Classical Five Element Acupuncture, Shirley has been treating patients since 1989, and has been a California licensed acupuncturist since 1991. |
